As I sit in the early morning hours, seeking the face of Jesus, spilling out my heartaches, as well as, my heart desires, I feel His presence. I feel His love filling my soul to the tune of amazing grace.
Truth tells us, that yes, it’s through the law of sowing and reaping that we find what cost the most, receives the greatest reward. And yes, it’s when we decide to be thankful to Him for a very difficult situation in our life, we’re taking a big step in denying ourselves.
For now, we’re giving up what’s become a big part of our life, and yes, sacrificing our pride, while humbling ourselves before Him, therefore, allowing His grace to flow within, while all the while, covering up that whole painful situation.
This sweet friends, is a big step in our spiritual growth, that yes, moves us to love Him and trust Him, even more, than we did only moments ago.
It’s overwhelming to think about just how much He loves us. The sacrifice He made for you and I is in itself, totally indescribable, and no, I don’t know about you, but me, I feel very unworthy of this great and miraculous love.
Yet, no matter the shame and sorrow we carry, He loves us anyway. He loves us big and He loves us wide.
He loves us with an unconditional love that simply does not exist in the realm of humanness.
So yes, we can boldly shout, for all the world to hear, that yes, God is love, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” Ephesians 13:17-19
