After our fun night on Friday, yesterday morning before leaving P’cola, Carla and I decided to have breakfast. As I made the route to downtown, I was on my blue tooth talking to my niece and nephew as I hit several stop signs. I was about to go through one and right before me, not 10 foot away, was the trailer of a 5th wheeler. For whatever reason, distracted by conversation or just plain daydreaming, I didn’t look to the right to see him. And yes, by the grace of God, I was able to stop the car in dead silence within mere steps of ramming into his side. Bless the mans heart, I’m sure it scared the bejeezus out of him. He stopped, looked at me from the cab of his truck with relief as I waved to let him know I was fine, so yes, off we both went. I then got off the damn phone, and yes, calmly went on with my day. So yes, as I sit here this morning in reflection, thinking about life as it is, and yes, the fact that we’ve all had things happen at some point or another that have made us think about why we were spared, or yes, why we’re even here. I realize the answer is simple, for the truth is, each and everyone of us are put on this incredibly beautiful earth for a reason, and yes, that reason is to help people know Him. We’re made to show, and yes, share His love. And yes, along the way, things will happen to remind us of this awesome responsibility we have to one another. And today, I ask that we join together and agree, that yes, each of us will do whatever it is He wants us to do to fulfill His hope in us. His hope that we’ll share His love in whatever way we know how. For yes sweet friends, He is good, and yes, the plans He has for us and our lives, there not going anywhere. So yes, heads up, let’s pay attention, let’s walk the walk, it’s a great day to be alive, for yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes, there’s no doubt, that yes, always and forever .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
