As I was going into the local grocery on my way home yesterday .. out of the corner of my eye I saw man sitting behind the carts leaning against the wall .. He obviously was out of place .. and yes .. my first thought was to approach him to see how he was doing .. haha .. while my second thought was .. I’m ready to get home .. and no .. I don’t have time for him .. needless to say .. my first thought took over .. so yes .. I went in for a visit .. he was a gentle man that was down and out .. heading to find shelter for the night .. oh .. he knew where he was going .. he was just stopping for a rest .. and yes .. in need of a bite to eat .. so .. after a quick visit that’s where we left it .. and yes .. in my less hurried self .. I made sure he had food and encouragement before we both went along our way .. haha .. thinking about it this morning I realize .. it’s when we’re faced with these kind of moments in life .. we’re yes .. simply being led to show an act of kindness .. and yes .. that these are opportunities that God gives us to be more like Him .. haha .. and yes .. how He smiles at our obedience when we take advantage of the opportunity to simply .. BE KIND .. for the truth is .. we should be mindful daily to take every opportunity placed before us to make someone else’s life easier and happier .. for yes .. this is what we as Believers should do .. and no .. we don’t have to know the right thing to say nor verbally witness to them .. all we have to do .. is yes .. just do something nice .. it will please that person .. it will please ourselves .. and yes .. more importantly .. it will please Him .. for friends .. He is love and He loves us big .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
