We cannot point to our hurts from childhood, and no, we cannot link all our issues back to what others did to us.
We cannot open our hurts, and no, we cannot wallow in all that leaks out.
The truth is, at some point we must realize, that yes, we all have hurts from the past, and yes, each and everyone of us has the choice to either let those past hurts continue to haunt and damage us, or yes, allow forgiveness to pave the way for us to be more compassionate toward others.
There’s something about hurt and pain that binds us together. So yes, we take the broken pieces of our past and we simply allow God to help us heal. We allow Him to help us use them, to yes, help others who may feel just like we do.
We don’t sweep it under the rug to hide it. We don’t continually block it from our minds. No sweet friends, we put it out there because we know, that we know that we know, we’re made to love and help one another, and yes, that what we’ve already been through, someone today is going through the same.
We’re made in the image of Love Himself. He loves us big, and yes, His expectations for us are high, yet no, they’re never higher than what He knows we’re capable of carrying through.
His love is real, and yes, in Him we’re made strong. So strong, that yes, we can move mountains when need be.
It all boils down to love, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
