Addiction, whatever it may be, substance or action – it’s a vicious cycle.
And yes – the importance of support and accountability by caring Believers cannot be overstated nor underrated.
They are often used by God – both to mirror the seriousness of the problem to an addict, as well as – to provide the consistent encouragement and strength needed to overcome the addiction at hand.
Healing begins when the recognition that an addiction exists, and yes – that we are unable to overcome any and all of this by our own power.
Simple truth for our simple mind.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
