It’s Memorial Day – my friend Tami (TJ) owner of Point Washington Pallet Works made this wood pallet flag for us to display. We hung it on our front porch, where I’m sure it will remain for years to come.
Today is special day set for us to remember those who have served and now serve to keep us safe and to keep us free.
In a sense, it’s a day to celebrate unconditional love.
We have veterans who have stood on the line and given their life so that we can have the freedom we have today. At times we tend to forget about all the sacrifices they have made and those that their loved ones have made.
It’s like if it’s not important and it it’s not in the news right here, happening right now, then it’s not that big of a deal. We don’t always recognize the sacrifices that have put us in the position where we actually wake up in the morning, and yes, can breathe and say “I’m free.
So yes, with that being said, and yes, with the world being such as it is right now – we still can, and yes, we still will – get up, lift up, and thank these men and women who serve today, while yes, paying our humble respect to those who are no longer with us, for yes – God has blessed us all.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” John 15:13
