It was a quiet Sunday morning when the news came in. Instantly, a family was in crisis, friends and community are in shock and thrown into confusion.
We don’t understand what happened and why – but what we do know is – God alone knows what’s in a person’s heart at death – and what we need to remember – we cannot look into the heart of anyone who has died and answer that question.
However, we the living, have responsibilities to the each other and our community of life – we are not allowed to be judgmental.
None of us know what causes a person to crumble – we’ve all crumbled at some point in time – it can be burdens about which we had no knowledge or overwhelming tension, anxiety, failures, unresolved guilt, loneliness, or the relentless attack of the enemy, whom the Bible calls our accuser. It can be a chemical imbalance that for a period of time, causes reason to be replaced, mental control to be lost, and judgment and the stronger sense of pursuing life to be snapped.
We must be compassionate and understanding – it is the only way.
So yes – we remember our friend and loved one and the good – because yes sweet friends, Kelly was good – and today she is standing tall and whole – and today and all the days to follow – we will hug and love on one another , while yes – keeping that memory alive.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
Big Love, Big Hug and Many Blessings
