Last night in the Gardens of Monet Monet, a group a friends and family gathered together to enjoy the music of Luke Winslow King.
Luke is a kind and humble man with talent like no other. His soulful twist and sultry sound are just beautiful. If you haven’t heard his music, please make a point to do so.
As I sat on my perch, looking through the trees I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for the many people in my life.
From the set up, to the hugs, to the food, to the drink, to the music, to the sound, and yes, to the breakdown.
I cannot say enough about each of you, nor express the humbleness I feel just knowing you.
I looked around at all the people who have been a part of my life for so many years, as well as, to the ones who have recently entered, and seriously, I want you all to know how much I love and appreciate your constant dedication to what we do.
We are indeed a blessed group of people. God brought us together on a Saturday evening, to collect a few memories, and yes, to enjoy our love for music. A perfect evening indeed.
As I sit here this morning reflecting on last night, I’m thinking about our new day ahead. A new start with new memories at hand, and yes, how fortunate we are, that yes, this happens for us, every single minute of every single day.
All we have to do is open our eyes and see, that yes, new beginnings come to those who step out in faith.
The truth is, to change anything in our life by His power only takes faith. Faith the size of a mere mustard seed.
So yes, it’s with a full heart that we can trust, that yes, we are loved by love Himself, and yes, He loves us big.
He is the Maker and Creator of us all, so yes, turn up the music, strike up the band, sing a song of praise, for yes, it’s a new day dawning.
And yes .. haha.. oh yeah .. love wins period
