Another year has flown by and like all of us – the older I get the faster they go!
No matter the year – today is a special day for us. Not only is it mine and Bob’s 24th anniversary, it’s also our sweet granddaughter, Gracyn Ann’s birthday. She’s double digit 10 years old today, and no, we couldn’t be more proud to be her grandparents.
She’s sweet, she’s funny, she’s brave and she’s strong.
I thought I knew and understood how it felt to love someone, but when these grand-babies came along, it changed the playing field. We’re blessed beyond measure to have the chance in this life to experience such a great love.
So this morning, I say, thank you Lord! Thank you for your gift of love, thank you for the gift of grand-parenting, thank you for my sweet husband we all call “Pop Bob”, thank you for my family, and yes, most importantly – thank you for Your sacrifice that made today possible.
The truth is – with Him we’re never alone. He’s constantly looking out for our well being, and yes, leading us and guiding us along our way.
All we have to do is share His love, pay attention, and yes, listen – listen to His still small voice that pops up letting us know, that we know, that we know ,,
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period.
