It’s Christmastime, “the most wonderful time of the year”, and yes,  I always seem to feel the need, to repeat this message year after year.  It’s an important message for us all.

The holidays are a time for love, laughter, family, and yes, those warm cozy memories, and yes, although this is a joyous time for most, it’s so important for us to stay mindful that this holiday season we so love, can yes, also be a very sad time for those who struggle with depression.

No matter the degree of depression, the many who share this battle, the holidays, they can be the hardest.

As Believers we live with the comfort of knowing that Jesus has conquered depression, but yet, it’s still a daily struggle for so many, and yes, even if we don’t struggle with depression personally, we can bet our bottom dollar, that yes, someone near us does.  They wear it on their sleeves, and yes, they’ve mastered ways to cover it up, and they do this, all because none of us want to be a burden nor do we want to be judged.

So yes, in knowing this fact, the best, and yes, most important thing we can do is pray for them and the struggle they’re going through. We can be that constant, and yes, positive presence in their lives.  No, we can’t fix it for them, oh but friends, God can, and yes, God will.  So instead of making small talk, we spend time together while keeping each other focused on how much we love, and yes, cherish one another.

Friends, the truth is, when we play our part in loving each other with that “Jesus kind of love”, before we know it, we’ll simply find, that yes,  it is indeed “the most wonderful time of the year” for us all, for yes, in our hearts, we know that we know that we know, that yes ..  haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period

Godspeed Sweet Friends

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things”
