When we truly trust someone, our fears and worries are greatly reduced – when we don’t, we can easily become consumed by an overwhelming need to control and micromanage.
Trust matters – it’s like a bridge that has been damaged or destroyed and the resulting gap is great and the challenges ahead are difficult, but not impossible.
There are no shortcuts and it takes time – time to heal, time to earn again the trust that was lost and time to rebuild the bridge.
It’s like dancing – it takes two committed people ready and willing to move together for something beautiful to happen.
Thankfully we can look to God to help us deal – with this, we do our part to restore what was lost and pray the other person does too.
It’s then we have the opportunity to watch and see what God can do when His kids dance – and dance we will.
