As with the passing days, so are the passing lives around us. Yesterday, our sweet friend Judi Bludworth went to be with the Lord. She is now standing tall and whole in that beautiful home where we’ll all eventually gather one day. Judi was a treasure in Grayton Beach for sure. She was a treasure to me. There was not one single time that Judi did not encourage me. She encouraged me when I was down, and yes, she encouraged me when I was up. She loved life and she loved her family. David (Bunny) her husband of decades was the talker in the family, haha. As a matter of fact, we used to laugh and say, she didn’t have to say much, for yes, David, he talked enough for both of them. Oh but when Judi did speak, it was always something you needed to hear. She was amazingly talented. We would have grayt coffee story hours and David would tell stories, while Judi listened, smiled her beautiful smile, and yes, sketch the scene in a way that only Judi could see. I will miss her, I will miss her smile, and yes, most of all, I will miss the unconditional love she showed me, for yes, she loved like Jesus, and friends, if any of us leave this earth with no other legacy than showing people His love, we’ve done our job. So today I say to my friend, well done sweet Judi, well done, and yes, again .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
