Addiction .. the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular .. “substance .. thing .. or .. activity” .. haha .. looks like it comes in all shapes and sizes .. and friends .. none of these mean failure .. for .. when our soul is aligned with God .. and .. we sincerely desire for Him to have His way in our life .. we can never fail .. it’s simple .. you see .. if we’ll allow it .. He’ll use our weaknesses to strengthen our bond with Him .. He’ll use our many addictions to teach us soul changing truths .. for friends .. He completely understands the misery we go through .. our suffering is not a trivial detail to Him .. for .. He has awesome plans for each of us .. and .. the things He wants to give us cost a lot of pain .. we just have to be willing to trust Him .. to believe that He is infinitely bigger than any addiction we have .. whether its the need to be in total control or shooting dope .. haha .. we simply must trust in this truth .. He won’t leave anything in our life a second longer than He needs to in order to accomplish His spiritual goals .. you see .. we’re all addicts in some form .. whether mental or physical .. but .. the good news .. freedom awaits .. and all we have to do .. is have the courage to put our battle into His hands .. and .. simply trust Him with the outcome .. oh I know .. it’s difficult for us as the fallen and prideful human beings we are .. to totally embrace the mindset of total dependency on someone other than ourselves .. but think about it .. we’ve already gone through so much of the pain necessary to be able to switch mental tracks .. so .. bottom line .. we can’t give up as we are so close to reaping that spiritual harvest from all the crap we’ve been through .. so .. with this .. we hand over our whole mess and allow Him to have His total way with us .. asking Him to make us as close to Him as we can possibly be .. and .. He’ll do it .. although our addictions are a critical stage in our journey .. there is no question that we have what it takes to make it to that glorious finish line .. and .. when it comes to deciding which souls can handle His toughest training camps, .. He never makes a mistake .. for .. in each of us .. He sees great spiritual potential .. for .. it’s when we stay close to Him in heart .. we will see .. first hand .. all that potential come to life .. oh yeah people .. Love Wins Period
