It’s when we really focus on and express what we’re thankful for in our lives, that yes, we’ll find that being thankful compels us to fix our eyes on God rather than on ourselves – it has a way of humbling us.

It takes our minds off our troubles and the anxieties we carry, and yes, simply reminds us that God will always provide for our needs.

Feeling and expressing appreciation is good for us, and yes, like any wise Father – He wants us to be thankful for all of the gifts that He’s given us, for yes, it’s always in our best interest to be reminded that everything we have is a gift from Him.

As most of you know, we’re in the wedding business, and we’re going into our third week of outdoor events and working with rain plans.  Our bride and grooms this weekend have postponed and postponed their weddings due to COVID – we’re not postponing now – we’ve traveled through this emotional time and together and we’ve made full circle – the ceremony on the beach wasn’t gonna happen today – but it did yesterday, and yes, we’ll simply party today.

So yes, gratefulness is the word of the day, the week and the year – we simply can’t get along without it.

Without gratefulness – we can become arrogant and self centered.  We can begin to believe that we have achieved everything on our own.  However, gratefulness keeps our hearts in the right relationship with the Giver of all good gifts – It reminds of us of how much we really do have in our own lives.

When we focus on blessings rather than wants – we’re happier people,  It’s when we begin thanking Him for the things we usually take for granted – our perspective changes.  We come to understand that we simply would not exist without His merciful blessings.

Being thankful lifts our spirit and brings us back to what we all, already know that we know that we know …

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period

“Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe”  Hebrews 12;28
