Anything can happen on any given day.
We get up and we get on the move as we do any other day – and yes – when things are going wrong – sometimes all we can focus on are the bad things – instead, we should look for the surprise blessings that can make any day a good day.
Yesterday was one of those days – the phone rang and Donald shared that two of our employees had an accident in a GBC truck and trailer on the way to an event that they were cooking at. Fortunenty when we got to the scene – there were no other vehicles involved – the truck and trailer didn’t look so good – however, Mariah and Russell were in good shape, handled the situation with a good head – no injuries other than a bump to the knee and the pain they’ll feel from the seatbelt – that yes – saved them from being seriously hurt.
For us – that’s all that matters – our little family is safe and sound and now waking up to a new day.
It could have went differently – but God – He simply would not allow such a heartache to occur on this day – so yes – here it is a new morning for us to greet Him, pray for a beautiful day and move fearlessly – with the mindfulness to focus on the little things that go right and taking the time to thank Him for every single blessing – and friends – I do mean every single little blessing.
Grateful this morning for His protection – and yes – so grateful for those that picked up behind this and made the wedding still happen.
For as we all know – in spite of the circumstances – the show must go on.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period.
