Friends I don’t know about you .. but me .. I try to stay away from those face book quizzes .. haha .. and if I do take one .. I never share it .. however .. this morning one popped up and I took it for no apparent reason other than to find out whether I was .. haha .. the Pessimist .. someone who complains about the wind .. the Optimist .. someone who expects the wind to change .. or .. the Realist .. the someone who simply adjusts the sails .. and no .. not to my surprise .. I was marked the Realist .. as yes .. haha .. I’ve adjusted many a sail in my days .. and yes .. like so many of us .. work really hard at staying in the reality of most everything we face .. although when we think about reality and really look at it .. often it seems to be more obstacle than opportunity .. more pain than pleasure .. more chaos than calm .. more hurt than happiness .. and yes .. more tension than tenderness .. haha .. however .. if we interpret God’s Word in the reality of which it is written .. we truly believe .. that yes .. He’s simply using ALL things in our lives to make us better .. that’s right .. for yes .. He’s on the move in making us more and more like Him with each passing day .. haha .. for the truth is .. with Him as our .. “Life Guide”.. life actually changes for us .. and yes .. that chaos we once knew is now a perfect calm .. those tensions that overwhelmed us have now turned into tenderness .. those hurts we’ve felt are now pure contentment .. and yes .. those obstacles .. haha .. they are now great big building opportunities .. for yes .. this is the “reality” of a life He offers each of us .. and yes friends .. when He says what He can do for us .. I’m here to testify .. that yes .. more times than not we’ll find .. haha .. it’s simply our own unbelief that can keep us from experiencing it .. for yes .. the reality is .. if a Believer’s life is worth living .. then yes .. He’s worth believing .. and friends .. if we believe in Him .. there is absolutely no end to the many many possibilities ahead of us .. for yes .. He loves us big .. and yes .. He is big love .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
