We just finished our last big wedding weekend, and as fitting it may be – we married one of our own.
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday spent watching Kate and her mom old and mom new – get their hair and makeup done for the big day.
It’s Kate and Rob’s wedding day!
We all laughed, cried and rejoiced in pure delight as the day went on and the excitement built – we giggled every single time (and there were so many) that Kate jumped in the air screaming with delight “I’m getting married, I’m getting married” – such sweet innocence and wonder in that tall woman body.
Everyone had a big time enjoying the gardens and the people, the speeches were spot on as the music flowed – heck, even the chocolate fountain explosion was beautiful in itself.
It was the perfect end to a perfect day – Kate and Rob left to start their new lives, and we were left one more time – to know, that we know that we know – this is what God has called us to do, simply because – the business of love truly never grows old.
