In life we’ve had or will face many decisions, and yes – we’ve had or will soul-search for the answer.
As we do, we must always pay attention as to whether our direction is good for us or whether we’re surrendering to the control and influence that others have over us.
And no, it isn’t selfish to ask ourselves if something’s good for us.
In reality – it’s healthy behavior, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, and no – we won’t be straying away from God’s plan nor His highest good for us by asking ourselves this question.
We’re simply participating in directing our life toward His highest good – and His purpose for our lives we own the power to hold ourselves in self-esteem.
So yes, we trust Him, we act in our best interest while understanding that our choices will not always please everyone around us – and that’s okay.
It takes courage and strength to faithfully follow what we know to be true for our own lives – and when we do – we’re acting out of love for all concerned, and that sweet friends – is more than okay.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
