“No one notices when the strong one gets tired of being strong”
I read this on my friends timeline and I think we can all agree – it’s a true statement.
As I sit here this Sunday morning with a hurricane to the west that could literally devastate an already devasted area – then the mess that’s been created here – along with the unfairness of sickness and decease – my heart aches for what’s happening.
So yes, even with this surrounding us, life moves along – and yes, we do what we have to do, whether we like it or not.
We stop and take time for others as we move through our days, for we know, this is the key to unlock the madness – caring about others while taking our eyes of ourselves, but yet, still caring about ourselves.
It can be tricky but it can be done, and yes – it’s healthy to do so.
In life we allow things to happen – most of the time we do this out of love – but then, it turns around and we lose the ones we love because we let it happen in the first place.
Now – a decision has to be made.
It’s a cycle that we’ve all been washed in.
So, we start this new day with a new mindset. We allow God to take us through. We forget about the unfairness and hurt and we deal with what’s at hand in front of us – and we do this in a kind and gentle and loving way.
We do this – because it’s His way, and friends, I don’t know about you, but I’ve truly found no other way. I’m sure I’ve tried most all of them, and yes – this is the road to travel no matter how low and lonely we may feel at times.
The truth is – it all boils down to one simple fact:
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
