It’s when trouble strikes and our hearts grow faint, that we so often forget the “Big Love” our Father in Heaven has for us.
We begin to doubt His goodness toward us – we get wrapped up and consumed by our stress, as well as our fears, and then – here we go, we want to blame someone, and yes, much of the time – it’s God Himself.
Oh but friends, it’s when we stop and we follow His formula, while yes, recalling His great love – that we’re reminded of His awesome compassion toward us, and then, ta da! – our hearts regain strength.
For we know, that we know that we know – He knows our daily need to remember His kindness, especially when we’re in the middle of unkind circumstances.
So yes – He calls us out – each morning He wants us to focus on His compassion – for it never fails – and friends – His resources, for they’ll carry us through each and every day.
The truth is, all those hard points in our present storm – if we’ll stop and look we’ll find, they’re filled with His peace – filled with His strength – filled with His wisdom, and yes – filled with His understanding.
His hope become ours if we ask Him for it – and as we lean into His great love and we lean on His resources – we will not be consumed nor will we be crushed.
He is faithful, and yes – although He doesn’t promise us a storm free life – He does promise to be our anchor in the middle of the storm.
We cannot be taken down, and yes – this is the truth on which we can stand on and we can live by – for yes – it’s truly, the only truth we need – to roll.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
