Friends .. as most of you know .. our family is on vacation in the Smoky Mountains .. and yes .. like so many we were evacuated last night .. and yes .. we’re safe and sound in a couple of hotel rooms in Pigeon Forge .. haha .. quite the adventure it’s been .. keeping our granddaughters aware of what’s happening .. yet unaware of the reality of what it could have been .. oh but friends .. it’s in the middle of the madness that we know .. without a doubt .. we’re never alone to deal with whatever it is we’re facing .. no way .. for you see .. God .. He’s faithful .. and yes .. it’s in His faithfulness that we find a constant shield .. for we sweet friends .. are covered by His very shadow .. that’s right .. we have the security in knowing that He’ll be with us in our times of trouble .. for simply .. this is His promise .. and yes .. His unchanging promises are there for any of us that choose to accept them .. simply by .. placing ourselves under His loving care .. wow .. all we have to do is trust then move on into that dwelling place .. where He’s the head of the house .. and yes .. that’s a “feel good” moment .. haha .. please read Psalm 91 .. read it every chance you get .. take it in and own it .. for yes .. it belongs to us .. and yes .. every time we come away from it .. we’ll find an even more overwhelming sense of awe.. and yes .. absolute wonder of His never ending provision for each of us .. that’s right .. haha .. I laugh .. simply because .. over and over again .. we find .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.
