We’ve all been hurt by someone at some point in our lives .. we’ve been lied to and taken advantage of .. and yes .. we’ve done the same to others in some form or fashion .. haha .. and yes .. we know and understand that none of this present world will matter to either side in a hundred years .. those hurt feelings we experience today will go with us to our grave .. with no one left to carry our torch of bitterness .. for the truth is .. what really matters for any of us right now is what we’re doing for God today .. what we’re doing to reach out to one another in love .. for His Word simply tells us that we’re to be imitators of Christ .. and yes .. we’re to walk in love .. so yes .. the bottom line is simple .. people can and will be selfish and cruel .. and yes .. we as Believers are supposed to be tender hearted and kind .. unfortunately .. tender hearted people don’t mix well with cold hearted people .. however .. we know in our heart the remedy to get past those hurt feelings .. we know that we know that we know .. when we simply shift our focus from ourselves to see the needs of others .. it’s then .. our hurt feelings are squashed .. yes .. haha .. they’re gone .. we can’t feel them anymore .. for now we’ve learned to let them go .. that’s right .. rather than being discouraged because of people .. we’ve overcome those thoughts by doing a little soul winning from the inside out .. and yes .. we’re loving others as He loves us .. and we know .. that yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
