It’s awesome the way Jesus didn’t complicate His commission but made it attainable for each and everyone of us .. for .. when He said to follow Him and He would make us “fishers of men” .. He simply meant .. He will take us .. just as we are .. shape us and transform us .. turning us into fishers of men .. oh no .. it’s not a gift nor is it a calling .. it’s simply what we become as we continue to follow Him .. as we become more Christlike .. regardless of our past or our state of mind .. we will naturally draw people to Him .. so .. it’a now extrememely important that we become conscious of our purpose in life .. for you see .. it’s the framework for all our actions .. as Believers .. we should be aware that we too have been called and commissioned .. this is crucial for the motivation of the work we do and for our ability to withstand the burdens of the day .. having a .. “sense of mission”.. may sound a little far fetched .. and .. if we feel .. “hoity-toity” .. because of it .. haha .. it just may be that we have chosen our mission .. all on our own .. oh but friends .. please remember .. there is such a thing as a God-given commission and a purpose in life for each of us .. and .. all we have to do to find it .. is ask .. then listen .. He’ll direct us every single time .. oh yeah .. Love Wins Period
As He was going along by the Sea of Galilee .. He saw Simon and Andrew .. the brother of Simon .. casting a net in the sea .. for they were fishermen .. and Jesus said to them .. “Follow Me .. and I will make you become fishers of men” .. immediately they left their nets and followed Him.
