Many suffer from a noticeable deficiency of peace .. haha .. I’m often one of them .. I’m not talking about a peace that equates to having a day with nothing on the calendar .. or .. plopping down on the sofa with a good book .. not that this doesn’t sound awesome .. but .. let’s be honest .. the peace I’m talking about .. it doesn’t require a weekend getaway .. it can happen anywhere .. even in the midst of the most hectic moments and places of our lives .. and this is possible .. only because gratitude knows where to look for it .. we may be grieving a loss that never settles far from your conscious thoughts .. or .. crying ourselves to sleep at night over a situation that is beyond our ability to control .. but .. we must remind ourselves of this .. in every situation .. ‘prayer plus thanksgiving equals peace’ .. for when prayer teams up with gratitude and we open our eyes wide enough to see His mercies .. even in the midst of our pain .. He meets us with His indescribable peace .. that’s His promise .. and friends .. He keeps His Word .. that .. we can always count on .. and all we have to do to find it .. is to go there for ourselves .. for His perfect peace .. is one of the many blessings that lives .. just on the other side of gratitude .. oh yeah .. Love Wins Period
