It’s St Patrick’s day, and yes, as we go into this day many of us will celebrate the “green”.

Green beer, green hair, and yes, green clothing.

And yes, we’ll do this all in remembrance of this remarkable man.

A man that was captured by Irish pirates and taken to Ireland as a slave to herd and tend sheep. At that time Ireland was a land of pagans.  Yet Patrick, like so many of us do when we’re struggling turned to God, and yes, like so many of us do, he drew comfort and strength from Him.

He loved the Lord with all his heart and often used shamrocks to explain the Holy Trinity.

So yes, it was by his simple effort, entire kingdoms were eventually converted to Christianity after hearing his message.  He preached, and yes, converted all of Ireland for over forty years. He worked many miracles and wrote of his love for God in “Confession”.

He was a humble and gentle man whose love and total devotion along with his total trust in God should absolutely, one hundred perfect, be a shining example to each of us today.

Yes, it was his trust in God and of the importance of his mission that he feared nothing, not even death, for yes,  he knew just like we know today, that yes, He is love, and yes, He loves us big, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ .. to Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity .. Amen.”
