We’re plugging along through life .. and .. all of a sudden it happens .. we find ourselves with a broken heart .. and friends .. it hurts .. yes .. we’ve been there before .. and .. we were in hope .. it would not happen again .. we’ve even done our best to avoid the usual pitfalls that bring the heart break on .. but .. you know .. the truth is .. broken hearts come with living life .. they come from taking the risk of opening our heart to love .. no .. there’s nothing imaginary about the pain in causes .. for .. it’s real .. and .. it can affect every part of our life .. it can even feel like it’s never going to end .. it will almost take our breathe we hurt so bad .. but friends .. it’s when we are in the thick of it .. we must understand .. this moment won’t last forever .. and .. we’re not alone .. God is with us .. so .. when we’re in the middle of this emotional turmoil .. we don’t give up .. and .. we don’t feel like we have to pretend to have it all together .. simply because .. it’s okay if we don’t .. for you see .. we were never meant to face any kind of brokenness alone .. so instead of acting like “everything is fine” .. instead of holding on to the “should haves” .. we just have to “let it go” … haha .. that’s right .. let go of those broken pieces .. and let Him have them .. for He is the Healer of Hearts .. whether .. broken .. bruised .. or .. hurt .. He is the Master Builder .. and .. let me tell you .. He can build something beautiful out of our hurt and pain .. for .. our hearts will break .. but .. that doesn’t mean we’ll have less a heart than before .. it doesn’t make us less a person .. it simply does not define the rest of our lives .. oh yes .. it hurts now .. and .. it just may hurt for a long time .. nothing like this heals overnight .. but .. once we hand it over to Him .. what once felt like the end of the world .. some time from now .. we may see that it was really the beginning of a new and better season .. it’s so true .. I’ve experienced this in my own life .. and .. you have too .. which in turn .. if we allow it .. keeps our hearts grateful for the beauty He makes .. even out of brokenness .. oh yeah .. Love Wins Period.
