We all have stuff we have to deal with in life – growing up issues, making mistake after mistake after mistake. The hurts and the pains of life – we all have them.
Yet, it’s when we find our spiritual path – our heart pounding love for God, that life begins to change for us. For me, it’s been a slow change – but a change all the same. One step forward, two steps back and here we go again.
But again – life is change and growth is optional, and with that, I’ve learned to take it as it comes – dealing with my shortcomings in a positive way – keeping it real, even when it’s not pretty.
It’s when we learn the most precious truth of all that our lives will change, and that truth is – there is nothing more powerful than the love of God. When we feel lost and alone – we can call His name, He’s “Jesus on the Spot” – and no, it doesn’t get better than that.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
