Friends .. we’ve all been hurt in life .. we’ve all been lied to .. cheated on .. and yes .. stabbed in the back .. haha .. (so to speak) .. by someone we love .. and yes .. if we’re honest .. we’ve done the same .. to someone we love .. so with that .. we can carry around the bitterness we feel toward them .. and yes .. even toward ourselves .. or .. we can simply .. get a grip on reality .. haha .. for friends .. think about it .. in reality .. we see the truth .. and that truth being .. our feelings .. they come from our thoughts .. so .. haha .. to change how we feel .. we simply .. change how we think .. and we do this .. simply because .. this is exactly what God wants us to do .. I mean really .. if we’re suppose to .. “have the same mindset as Christ” .. and .. we’re told to .. “think on things that are true .. noble .. just .. pure .. lovely .. of good report .. and .. praiseworthy” .. haha .. while .. “setting our minds on things above and not on earthly things” .. and .. we actually do this .. our feelings of bitterness and rejection should diminish .. haha .. yes sweet friends .. overcoming the hurt of a broken relationship .. simply requires .. taking it one day at at time .. looking for His guidance .. and yes .. meditating on His Love that comes alive in His Word .. for healing .. it truly never comes from our own efforts .. it comes .. only from Him .. haha .. bottom line .. it’s when we take our eyes off ourselves and focus them on Him .. that we’ll be made whole .. for simply .. He’ll take our brokenness .. and yes .. He’ll make us what He wants us to be .. oh I know .. a broken relationship is painful .. but friends .. our God .. haha .. He is gracious .. He gives our lives meaning .. He gives our lives purpose .. and yes .. He gives our lives joy .. so .. we stand firm .. and yes .. we live in this truth .. for when we do .. He simply .. gets the glory .. He so rightfully deserves .. haha .. oh yeah .. Love Wins Period
