It takes a humble heart to admit a mistake.
The problem usually arises when we’re challenged. Our first reaction normally is to defend and explain our position – we may even try to deny there is a problem.
However, it’s so much easier, and yes, so much simpler to admit the mistake – than to keep resisting the truth.
We as people tend to forgive easily, and yes, even admire the one that is willing to admit their wrong .
So yes, when we become those willing ones. those who look for ways to improve and move on – those that trust God to honor our honesty, and yes, willingness to let go of our pride – it truly saves us all much time and much energy.
The next time we open our mouth to defend a decision we’ve made – we need to stop – we need to get still – we need to trust God.
It’s then that He’ll reveal the truth in every situation. He does this simply because – He loves us way too much to let us wallow in our own selves – letting go and moving on is a gift – take the gift.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
