Our bodies do not function properly without rest.
So yes, in the middle of the night when our minds refuse to do so and we’re racing in circles as we lie in the darkness – we turn to God, and yes, we consciously hand Him our burdens one by one – unresolved situations and each decision in the making.
He never minds us unloading on Him – He’s available to us twenty four seven. And when we’re done “unloading” all we have to do is ask Him to quiet our mind and our body – for this is where we find rest in His love.
It’s then we can sleep – and when we wake, we’re able to hear His still small voice – making everything visibly clear.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong oh yeah .. Love Wins Period
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
