I write about the things I write about – mostly because it’s something I need to hear myself, or yes – something that God has laid on my heart that maybe we all need to hear.
One of the things that keeps coming back to me over and over again is something we all carry with us – “unresolved issues”
These are the things in our lives that cause us to build walls – we think these walls will protect us from being hurt again, and yes – because we become so fearful of not being in control of our circumstances – we demand control over everyone and everything in our life, while yes – being determined to never be rejected again.
Oh but friends, sadly enough – it’s all of these things that keep us subject to bondage – and yes – God wants us to find freedom – and in order to do that – we have to let go and not only allow Him to heal our wounds and strengthen our weaknesses – we also have to make the choice to develop maturity in order to walk in that freedom.
The truth is – much of the time – our souls need a complete overhaul – and yes – there’s no One better to do just that than the “Master Mechanic” Himself .
