I woke up this morning to the wonderful video of .. “I’d Rather Go Blind” – A tribute to Buddy Guy .. performed by Beth Hart and accompanied by Jeff Beck .. if you haven’t watched it .. you need to .. the caption written by my friend read .. “Music – it really feeds your soul” .. haha .. oh yes .. music .. it has a way of bringing us .. from where we are .. to where we need to be .. it can transport us back in time .. as we listen .. memories of a simpler day .. and yes .. even of .. a carefree love that we may have shared .. haha .. yes … it brings back memories .. for friends .. as we’ve learned through time .. love .. it’s rarely easy .. however .. when we choose to unite our love with God’s love .. to ground our love for each other .. in His love for us .. haha .. it’s then we find .. our love has staying power .. haha .. .. and yes .. when we as a community of Believers love one another in a love that is rooted in His love .. haha .. we then experience a unity that serves as a beacon of light .. and yes .. of hope that draws others to the One .. who is love .. haha .. and yes .. just like a love song .. in turn .. haha .. has a way of pointing us all .. in the right direction .. so .. yes sweet friends .. it’s so very true .. “music” .. does indeed .. feed our soul .. so .. come on now .. let’s do this .. haha .. let’s rock and roll .. haha .. oh yeah ..
