Let’s talk about “kindness” this morning .. and yes .. how it comes down to humbly giving of ourselves in love and mercy to others who may not be able to give anything back .. as well as .. to those who we may feel sometimes don’t deserve it .. and yes .. to those who frequently don’t thank us for it .. haha .. basically kindness means a way of thinking that leads to doing thoughtful deeds for others with no expectations .. for you see .. God wants us to show kindness in every situation we’re in .. and yes .. in every place that we go .. for yes .. He wants us to strive to become more like Him .. and yes .. even though His tender mercies and loving kindnesses are often taken for granted .. we still recognize His hand .. and friends .. if we follow His example .. and yes .. are as merciful and kind as He is .. His hand will be shown through us .. and yes .. that’s big .. for yes .. each and everyone of us are the tools used to extend His compassion .. His mercy .. and yes .. His kindness to the world .. we’re the light in which He shines .. for no .. kindness is not a selfish attempt to get something for ourselves .. it’s simply a show of mercy .. and yes .. of love to other human beings with no thought of reward for ourselves .. for the truth is .. we follow Love .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
