It’s Christmastime .. you know .. “the most wonderful time of the year” .. haha .. yes .. the holidays are a time for love .. laughter .. family .. and yes .. warm memories .. and yes .. although this is a joyous time for most .. friends .. it’s so important for us to stay mindful .. that this holiday season we love .. can also be a very sad time for those who struggle with depression .. no matter the degree .. and yes .. as many share this battle .. the holidays .. they can be the hardest .. haha .. as Believers we live with the strain of knowing that Jesus has conquered depression .. but yet .. it’s still a daily struggle for so many .. and yes .. even if we don’t struggle with depression personally .. we can bet our bottom dollar .. someone near us does .. that’s right .. they wear it on their sleeves .. and yes .. have simply learned ways to cover it up .. haha .. all because none of us want to be a burden .. nor .. do we want to be judged .. haha .. so yes friends .. in knowing this fact .. the best thing we can do is pray for them and the struggle they’re going through .. for simply .. we can be that constant .. and yes .. positive presence in their lives .. we can’t fix it for them .. but friends .. God can .. and yes .. God will .. haha .. if we let Him .. so .. instead of making small talk .. spend time together .. keep each other focused on how much we love and cherish them .. for friends .. the truth is .. when we play our part in loving each other .. haha .. with that Jesus kind of love .. before we know it .. we’ll simply find .. that yes .. it is indeed .. “the most wonderful time of the year” .. for us all .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
