As I sit here this morning thinking about the day .. talking to God about my ups and my downs .. my needs .. haha .. and yes .. my wants .. my mind goes to my family and our businesses .. how like so many of us .. having followed in the footsteps in some form or fashion of those before us .. our family has been in the service industry for as long as I can remember .. my father was an awesome cook with a big personality .. his recipes were never written down .. and no .. if you didn’t pay attention while watching them made .. haha .. you just didn’t learn to make them .. it was always just the right amount of this spice or that spice .. along with .. just the right amount of salt .. for yes .. too little or too much could make the dish change completely .. haha .. so with this on my mind .. my thoughts go to Jesus .. and yes .. how He told us we are the salt of the earth .. and yes .. we need to be mindful that we are carefully .. and yes .. purposely seasoning the world around us in a proper manner .. haha .. too little may leave people glad to have seen us .. but yet .. feeling nothing from the time they spent with us .. oh but too much .. can be repelling and leave them not caring if they ever see us again .. haha .. for yes sweet friends .. each one of us are called to bring out His flavors as we travel through this life .. and yes .. each one of us are responsible for the taste of His love that we leave while passing though .. so today .. as with every new day we are given .. let’s get up .. get out .. haha .. and yes .. season our way through .. for yes .. we serve Love .. and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
