We had a beautiful Easter Day with our family .. started the day off with Mass at St Rita’s .. it looked like they broke a record in attendance .. they had seating out front in which we enjoyed the beautiful sunny morning while celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord .. the perfect start for the perfect day .. from there we went over to Donald and Cortney’s .. where they served up a feast .. then made a stop by the Annual Bunny Hop at Elmore’s Landing where the music was flowing .. then home to a nice relaxing evening .. it was a beautiful day .. and now .. here we are at the start of another beautiful week .. I’m thinking this morning of how the disciples felt today .. what do they do now that Jesus is gone .. but yet .. they knows He’s alive .. they saw Him with their own eyes .. but did they .. haha .. so yes .. in His grand style He knew they would need direction .. and yes .. conformation that what they saw yesterday was indeed true .. so He hung around and appeared to them periodically while teaching and encouraging them for the following forty days .. He knew for them to carry out The Great Commission this is what He would need to do .. and yes .. it worked .. haha .. He’s smart like that .. so yes .. here we are at the end of the Gospel and the beginning of faith in action for all of us who believe .. we have been given the powerful statement by He Himself .. that yes .. makes it very clear that we are to stand on our faith in Him .. and yes .. to understand the power that had been given to Him .. while yes .. making the commitment .. to yes .. share this love of His with all we meet as we travel along our journey .. for yes sweet friends .. He is the very essence of love .. and yes .. His love will continue to carry us through to the end of time .. for yes .. always and forever .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
