As we all make our final preparations for oncoming Hurricane Michael, we pray. Whether we pack up and go, or yes, whether we hunker down and stay, we pray. We pray for safety for all in his path, we pray for peace to overcome each person, whether on the road or at home. We trust that our God will protect us in need as we move through the days to come. We remember when He watched His disciples struggling in the storm on Galilee, then yes, walked across the water, and yes, climbed into their boat as they called our His name, while commanding the wind and waves to be still, and they obeyed. So yes, we call out to Him on our behalf, for yes, we know that we know that we know, the winds and the waves know His voice, and yes, in His name we command them to be still. We encourage our neighbors, friends and families to meet this threat together, granting all of us mercy as He keeps His promise to be with us. For yes, we serve a God of love, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.
