Families are without utilities as they dig through the rubble of what only a couple of days ago was their home. They’ll be cleaning up for months, perhaps years. Sadly, none of us know if or when we may one day have to sift through the wreckage, that yes, was once our life’s treasures. And no, although many of us have not experienced this particular devastation firsthand, our hearts ache as we see what’s happened to our neighbors, So yes, as I sit here this morning thinking and praying, I do know that we’ll all have to endure hardships of one kind or another throughout our lives that will leave us with the daunting task of picking up the pieces. So yes, we pray. We pray for the ability for everyone to see God’s presence, perceive His power, and yes, focus on His plan despite the obstacles. As visions are blurred with tears, this may be difficult, and yes, we all understand, but most importantly, He understands, and yes, He knows it’s hard to see beyond the mountain of wreckage in front of you. So today, let’s encourage one another to stay as positive as we possibly can, while allowing God to take charge, and yes, while trusting Him in the days to come. For the truth is, He’ll see us all through, for yes, it’s in His grace that we can step up and do what’s needed, while yes, accomplishing more than we ever thought possible. Freinds, we have been made strong, and yes, we hang tough when the going get’s rough, for we know, there’s no magic wand available to make things new again, but with determination, we’ll lock our eyes on His vision, and yes, we’ll go for it, and yes, we’ll rebuild, for yes yes yes, we serve love Himself, and without a doubt, always and forever, .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
