Last night was our GBC Fall Block Party. We celebrate with the community in the spring and fall as a way to say thank you for all of your love and support. Last night was special. Not only were we honored to have everyone come out and celebrate with us, but we also had the honor of being able to give to our friend, DJ Vladi to help with his steadfast effort to rebuild his neighborhood in Lynn Haven. He was spinning records, we were dancing up a storm, kids were running around playing, and yes, everyone had a grayt time. Oh, and the food, it rocked! Our staff is awesome and I truly just can’t say enough about them and the job they do. It was a nice evening filled with love and happiness.
As I sit here this morning (much later than normal), I can’t help but think about how, no matter what we face, we always manage to come together in love and respect for one another. Our community is awesome, and yes, I’m so proud to be a part of a group of people who truly do, love like Jesus. So yes, I must simply say, thank you thank you thank you for confirming over and over again, that yes, haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period
