These last few months and especially weeks have been somewhat challenging, and yes, downright difficult.  I’m pretty darn sure this is something we can all relate to.

Life can throw a good punch when it wants.

So yes, as I sit here this morning, thinking about life and what our family alone is faced with today, I also think about all of you and what you are faced with on this day as well.

There is not one of us that is not dealing with challenges in some form or fashion.  There is not one of us that is not experiencing some sort of hurt, disappointment, or yes, even anger at what is happening in our life.

The good news, we’re not alone.

We have God, the most powerful source of strength, hope and love available to mankind, and yes, we have each other.  In His grand plan, He not only lives and breaths within us, but yes, He has given us the love to care for and encourage one another.

It’s a powerful tool.

The truth is, from my first sentence to this short distance away, I can honestly say, I feel better.  My mindset has changed from me to you, and yes, with that, along with the thought of what you may be going through has changed my stance, and yes, given my prayer a different direction.

There’s something about knowing a need and lifting that person up that can shift any moment in time.

So yes, we get up, we pray for each other, and yes, we go out and have a glorious and productive day.   We love as He loves, and yes, we hope, for He is our hope.  We’ll all get through what we’re facing, and yes, on the other side of the trial, we’ll be better for it – simple truth.

Bob started treatment yesterday and is settling in well.  Please continue to keep him lifted up as it is an 8 week treatment plan that will have challenges along the way, however, we know that we know that we know, none that are too big for our God.

We are loved by love Himself.  He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. haha .. oh yeah .. love wins period.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken”     Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
