In the midst of the hardship that went with Mary and Joseph’s journey, amid the deferred dreams, and yes, dashed hopes – our God was working to redeem the world.
He simply, and yes, easily, forced every circumstance including the oppression of the Roman government strictly to serve His purpose. This is not the way that Mary imagined it would be, and yes, as we know, this was not the last of her unwanted journeys.
The truth is, and yes, as with us today, we’ll each take unwanted journeys in life, and yes, life will have its moments of disappointment, it will have its times of overwhelming sorrow, and yes, it will have its times of intense pain.
The good news – God not only walks with us on these journeys, He redeems them, and yes, brings good from them.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
