God made us to laugh. It’s His hope.
His wants us to laugh in, and yes, out of season. We are to laugh on high bright sunny days, as well as, on those dark and gloomy days. He wants us to laugh in the midst of extreme situations, just like the days when everything is smooth sailing.
He wants us to laugh.
The truth is, it’s the perfect example of His Love and His Joy, not to mention, it’s perfectly clear from Scripture that He’s mandated laughter. It’s as if it’s our duty.
For example, look at what the Book of Proverbs says about a good woman .. “she laughs at the time to come” then again it’s written in Ecclesiastes .. “for everything there is a season and time for every matter under heaved, a time to week, and a time to laugh”
Let’s not forget Jesus Himself, straight out says, “Blessed are you who weep, for you shall laugh”
Bottom line. Laughter makes us feel full, filled, and yes, content. Like all the cobwebs of life have been cleared from our mind. And yes, He delights in this, for yes, He Himself is the Creator.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period.
“Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” Psalm 126:2
