God does not ask us to be doormats for others to walk over.
We will be led at times to comfort someone about their bad behavior, and yes, it may be our very own we have to look at, however, no matter the situation, it’s all about “heart attitude”
Jesus never mistreated anyone just because they mistreated Him. No, He went directly to them, confronted them with a spirit of gentleness, and yes, went right on loving them.
We must never return evil with evil. We must always overcome evil with good.
Bottom line – we need to become more concerned about what others are doing to themselves than what others are doing to us.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
