When I get disappointed in people, and yes, feel like I’ve been done wrong and taken advantage of. It’s then, that yes, I do my best to stop, place my pointing finger on the top of my head, turn myself around, and yes, remind myself that there is only ONE thing that matters most in this world.
God is love.
Without this, nothing else really matters. We can move past anything and everything with this truth as our shield. Those hurts and sorrows we encounter seem totally insignificant when we know in our heart, that yes, He loved us first, and not only that, He’s constantly pursuing us with His amazing, and yes, powerful love.
The truth is, when He apprehends us, our hearts are changed. We have a new address. We live in His love and His love lives in us. And with this new and improved heart, we become bold, confident, and fearless, for yes, His love drives out all fear.
Then the crazy happens .. we begin to love one another, and no, we can’t even help it.
He loves us, we love Him, and yes, the power of that love is so great that nothing but an open heart of thanksgiving and forgiveness can be found.
So yes, the bottom line will forever and a day, remain the same.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
