Faith is simply stepping out and doing what God has asked us to do.
Even when we can’t see what will happen in the end.
Sounds risky, yet everything we do in life has some sort of risk. And no, we have no idea what He’ll do in the end, but what we do know, is that yes, He’s asking us to step out in faith, and yes, to do it without fear or hesitation.
Jesus told us straight up that one of the greatest mistakes we can make in life is to play it safe. There have been so many times where we’ve come to the edge, while all the while, not really sure of where we’re headed.
The truth is, we all have decisions to make. Whether they be in business, in relationships, or yes, in simply trusting Him more. And yes, it can be scary, for now, we’re faced with taking that “leap” of faith, and yes, we want to make sure it’s what He’s telling us to do.
I learned a long time ago that the best way to take this on is to use the old stand by. The eighty/twenty rule, and yes, to use it faithfully.
Think about it – when we do eighty percent of His will that is clearly written in His Word, we can one hundred percent trust, that yes, He’ll absolutely show us the twenty percent that’s not clear.
In other words, when we do our part, like love our neighbor, spend time with Him, protect the way we speak to people, be kind in our relationships, be patient, and so on .. we’ve done our eighty percent, and yes, He’ll show us the rest.
There are things in our life that we need to do, and no, we don’t have to be afraid to do them, so yes, we take that “leap”.
For if we don’t, we’ll likely get ourselves stuck in a rut, and yes, we’ll begin to die inside. And yes, as most of us have learned in this life we live .. the only difference between a rut and a grave is the length .
It’s a new day. Let’s get up, get out, and yes, move forward in faith. We can’t let our dreams go to the wayside nor let our hearts grow cold. He’s not going to help us with step two, three, four and five, until we take step one.
So yes, we take the risk, simply because, we trust Him with everything we have, for we know that we know that we know, in Him we’ll have the confidence to take that long awaited “leap of faith”
And friends, I can’t think of a better day to make this happen than today .. Leap Day 2020,
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
“”Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go” Joshua 1:7
