I walk across the replica of Claude Monet’s bridge just about every day at Monet Monet – and yes, each time it brings me back to Claude’s paining of the Water Garden.
An incredible work of art. Full of brilliant colors, yet, surrounded by dark shades of blacks, blues and greens, which yes, totally enhance the lighter shades.
And yes, to take that a step farther – as we think about his painting, we can picture, and yes, be reminded of the water gardens in our own lives.
So yes, with this thought in mind, it encourages us to be mindful that we have a purpose and design for our life. How even when we focus on the darker portions of our painting, we’re gently reminded that our God, the Artist of our life, has yes, intentionally allowed the blues and greens and even the grays and blacks, to be brushed on our own canvas for a reason.
He uses these shadows to make our lives richer.
Let’s look back on past difficulties. We’ve all has so many we’ve had to deal with. Yet, when we sit and think about it, we can now see His perfect handiwork creating a brilliance of color and beauty .. all from our pain and suffering.
For you see, our Artist, He uses a multitude of techniques in our lives to help us to become the people He intends for us to be.
And yes, just like the water lilies in Monet’s painting, He keeps the leaves and petals in our lives afloat through the muck, through the wind , and yes, through the rain that are simply part of the storms we have, and yes, we will face.
The fact is, water lilies survive April showers and worse, So will we. We’ll survive with His help and His grace, for yes, our hearts are full of gratefulness, and yes, no matter the time in our lives, we can count on this one simple truth ..
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
