Life is full of change, and no, not all change is by choice – a tragedy strikes and our lives are changed forever.
As it’s always been, there’s the unchangeable and irreversible.
We think about the things of the past, we long to go back, and yes, undo the many mistakes we’ve made along the way.
However, this is impossible, for the truth is, when we pull out the nails of our failures – the ugly holes remain.
Yet, as Believers, we have the assurance to know that God is always the steady One. He’ll be with us through any and all of the changes we experience.
The ironic part of this is – while we trust Him for our eternal fate, we at times find it difficult to trust Him for next months bills, or yes, trust Him during this unexpected turn that all our our lives have taken.
The presumption that He is unfamiliar with the complex people He has made, keeps us hanging on to bits and pieces of our lives, while yes, being deceived by the enemy’s age-old lie that God does not want the best for us.
In this threatened world and multicolored patterns of life, it’s huge, and yes, totally reassuring, to know that we know that we know, without a shadow of doubt, that yes ..
Our God is permanent, He is constant, and yes, He is unchanging.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
