No matter what we face in life we must continue to be loving – even when it isn’t returned to us in the exact way we would like it to be.
After all, true love is to love someone without expecting anything in return. So yes, we need to practice this daily, while all the while, looking into our hearts without holding on too tightly to the outcome.
Practicing love is the same as practicing the art of letting go -. giving others the freedom to be themselves, accepting them the way they are – in spite of not because of.
We can do this with anyone we meet, always looking at others with a smile, knowing they’re just like us, and yes, feel good about it.
The truth is, when we learn to give ourselves unconditional love , unconditional compassion, unconditional forgiveness, and yes, total acceptance – we’re then able to give that to others.
Just as God intended it to be.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period.
