In the midst of the darkness that the last months have brought us – we must stay steady on the simple fact, that yes, God is at work for us.
We must stay mindful today and the days to follow, to believe – He has the power to fashion something new and beautiful out of our disastrous ruins.
We simply need to be patience as He works – never allowing ourselves to rush so quickly into peace – that we fail to learn from the chaos.
If He’s revealing ugliness in our nation and world so that we can begin to address it and transform it – we cannot be content to simply sweep it under the rug.
We all want more than a temporary cease-fire of our own making – we all want that true and every lasting peace.
We all want only what He can bring – may He give us peace by making us agents of peace.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes .. love wins period
