We’ve all made our share of mistakes in this life we live. We’ve hurt people along the way, and yes, where possible, we’ve asked for forgiveness.
From some we’ve gotten it, and yes, together – we’ve moved on to a better place and understanding.
However, from others we’ve been alienated, and yes – may still be today.
As we’ve moved through it, and yes, if we’ve paid any attention to what God has shown us at all, we’ve simple learned – “hurt people hurt people”
It’s a constant circle, for yes, we’re all a little broken somewhere – there’s none of us today that aren’t fighting some sort of battle.
So yes, when we find ourselves trying to justify our wrongs, we must remind ourselves, that no, there’s no justification for wrong – there’s only grace and forgiveness.
It’s when we admit our wrongs and we do what we can to make them right, that yes, we’ve done our job, and no – it’s no longer on us.
However, there’s one key ingredient we can never leave out, and yes, that sweet friends is simply – we must forgive ourselves.
We can no longer continue to beat ourselves up.
We have to move forward without dwelling on it another single day.
For in reality – until we do this, we can’t use the mistakes of our past to benefit those who need help today – for they just like us, hurt, and yes, they need to know the truth.
God is good. God is faithful. God is forgiving, and yes, God is Love.
It’s when we truly realize and believe this, we’ll begin to live in true freedom, and yes, we’ve done our job.
For it is then, He’ll have gotten, and yes, will continue to get the glory, each and every step of the way.
We are loved by love Himself. He loves us big and He loves us strong, and yes – love wins period
“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us” Psalm 103: 11-12.
